Here’s one more video from Novi Sad, plus some pictures from our visit to Milos; mother’s farm house in Garashi, Sumadija.
We just arrived in NIsh, after a beautiful visit to our guide Milo’s mother’s farm home in Garashi (just outside of Arandjelovac.
Yesterday we were in Novi Sad in Voyvodina, north Serbia, and danced with a great dance group called Vila. Here are two videos with Milorad Lonic, their great teacher leading (and a gaida accompaniment.)
The taxi to Newark airport will be arriving in two hours. I’ll soon be flying Lufthansa airlines to Frankfurt, then from there. to Belgrade, Serbia.
My heart is pumping with restrained enthusiasm, which I’m sure will be fully released upon arrival.
Pre-flight meditations are important, and so are pre-flights drinks such as sipping pre-Serbian lemonade through a straw.
Stay tuned for more pictures and videos.
